Upgrading Legal System

Gathering information on a new type of business, Lawyers are upgrading the legal profession to include the Working-Class. This is also on a bias as a type of insurance. It has not proven profitable. However, it pays for office space. It is also best for Lawyers with an independent legal firm or Public Defenders.

The concept is a small group of Lawyers, three or four, acquire Clients by representing a company. They may also represent multiple companies with fifty or more Employees. Employees have the option to pay a minimal amount of ten to twenty dollars a month to retain a Lawyer. When Lawyers are able to represent one hundred or more Clients office space is paid.

A low retaining fee makes office space, furnishings and petty cash affordable. It is easy to reduce expenses to Clients. Instead of paying two-thousand dollars for counsel, Clients pays for the filing fee at the courthouse and the Lawyers time to stand in line. In other issues, a consulting fee might never be higher than five-hundred dollars, depending on the issue: writing a will, transferring inheritance or scheduling a trial.

An individual might assume that is enough money to pay for living costs; however, most people live in accordance to the law. Occasionally, Clients might want a Lawyer to advise them about a credit issue, file a complaint, read a mortgage contract or prepare them for a small claims case. These are ongoing problems. A group in the hundreds only supplies a finite amount of work opportunity.

Traffic violations are similar. A person might pay fifty dollars for advice on a traffic ticket. For example, the Client is pulled over for a broken tail light. The Lawyer advises them to replace the taillight and provide a receipt before going to court. The Judge reduces the fine. The Client knows how to handle similar traffic violations in the future for only fifty dollars.

Larger traffic violations are DUI or DWI. Most people never have these infractions. Even a Teen Son or Daughter will never need this kind of legal assistance. However, most people will pay retaining fee because penalties are jail, rehabilitation and having their license revoked. A good Lawyer would reduce charges to probation and license suspension. Five hundred dollars is appealing and far more achievable than two-thousand dollars to start working the case. In addition, rehabilitation in a government facility may cost several thousand dollars that is paid by the Parent or Patient.

Finding the concept intriguing, it is important to share this information with people because it will help many people. More people will have access to legal assistance. More Lawyers will have jobs working as Lawyer.

Several people in the United States hear about having a Lawyer look at a contract, yet it is less expensive to read it. Several people do not bother reading contracts and more companies are summarizing contractual agreements. Lawyers are not affordable.

Knowing a Lawyer, they have to pay a mortgage and buy food. They only have time to work on cases involving millions of dollars and still live in a lifestyle that is below personal standards. It is a tough business. It takes most of their time represent two or three cases a month. This means a large number of people in the United States go without legal counsel or rely on city, county, state or federal assistance.

As a new business concept, there is low barrier to entry. Over time this will change, yet it could supply several Lawyers with meaningful income and regular people with steady legal counsel.

The legal profession has been difficult since the 1980s. People became Lawyers in droves. Currently, unless someone is in the top of their class, works as an Intern and has a great reputation, they are more likely to work as a Legal Secretary or Clerk. The degree is fine. A legal degree is beneficial in several vocations. SEC law has several placements.

Realistically this concept is for someone who is able to generate additional income through Clients or work as a Public Defender, implying they are already working as a Lawyer. Work is seldom and inexpensive. It is probably better for Lawyers who can work as Public Defenders. Public Defenders are paid by the State. It is possible to take take a week off work to defend someone in a court case who does not want to hire an Attorney or is unable to afford an Attorney.

Everyone has the right to an Attorney. It is a constitutional right. As more people are able to afford a Lawyer, there might be fewer cases for Public Defenders. Public Defenders would be paid the same amount; however, with a legal firm they do not have to rely on government income.

Privately owned legal firms should incorporate this into their business. It is possible to expand by offering legal services to small businesses and Employees of companies who do not offer this service.

This business idea accomplishes: affordable legal assistance to Working-Class, greater availability of legal counsel, more jobs for Lawyers and potentially a reduction in government expenses. It could cause a substantial difference in how businesses and people interact with the legal system. It would help individuals protect personal rights and property.
