Obligations of Success

Commerce is the activity of making money. It is making money for a business. It is making money for an Employee. It is to save and dispense funds for necessary resources. The government is only responsible for overseeing transactions. Individuals use contracts to make personal choices about transactions in relation to plans. Renegotiation of legal contracts requires consent from both parties in a contract. Illegal content in a contract is not valid because it defiles the law.

Having a couple brushes with fame, I wonder about making a lot of money, maybe millions of dollars. The idea inspires ideas of taking care of personal needs and also how to spend money responsibly. Today I am thinking about how to dispense money thoughtfully and reward people who help me be successful. What obligations would I have and to whom.

The current laws around this issue of obligation are faulty. It holds people responsible for future earnings. This undercuts infant industries ability to succeed. Laws are severe and pay people twice, while not paying people for service. It is an attack to sue someone and only those disobeying the honor code face strenuous consequences. Over punishing a few people is not a constructive form of maintaining justice. Income does not guarantee success. Waiting for income to occur does not overburden people trying new ideas to find out if it is important to society.

The honor code of Scientists is successful. It follows a guideline of using open resources to generate and reward ideas. A person pays a nominal amount, they find fair, after making money. I will honor this general agreement after making money. Service is free before this time. Entities like FireFox and OpenOffice state they want a donation whenever a person feels it is important. I find FireFox is the superior web-browser; however, I might pay licensing for Windows Office Suite because of the spelling and grammatical checker.

MicroSoft Windows has a license agreement. The contract to pay for software gives Consumers the option to pay a one-time-fee or renew the license agreement. There are additional services when renewing contracts. Attempts to use laws to change legal contracts defiles contracts.

Criticism is a part of free speech. Everyone is given the right to express opinions. As a sharing of information all tangible parts of a conversation occur during the interaction. Friendship is similar. As Blogger, I dispense useful advice. The purpose is to better people's lives. When a person budgets their money and benefits from my site, everything is in order. Hopefully they like me and return. This creates name recognition.

After establishing a business or idea as being able to earn money, who do they owe?

A complex issue, in regards to intellectual property, intelligence of the idea must be proven. School, Friends, Family and Scientists contribute to my ideas. It is impossible to live without influence from other people, yet it only has value when attempting to make money on intellectual property. This involves unique ideas, yet what is the overall obligation?

Teachers and textbook are paid as tuition requirements. Schools and Publishers of textbooks make a contract with people wanting to learn. Setting a price in association with service, obligations are payable during the transaction. Frequently Alumni want to gift or donate money to their school when reaching a higher level of success. It is not a requirement. Several Students will make a nominal amount of money during their career. Even when making a lot of money, the nominal percentage will not exceed cost-of-tuition.

Friends, Family and Employers contribute to the success of an Individual. Life experience is a unique requirement for copyright. Every person is also a unique individual and often sees cultural events and public domain information differently. It is a sharing of information while it occurs.

Most Prominent Scientists are paid by the government. They earn a salary to perform research. Since the government paid for research to benefit everyone, government contributes to my ideas. Sometimes a Scientist write a book. The are paid by the publishing company. Sometimes unique thoughts are notable enough to pay royalty fee. Publishing companies have several Authors. I want to reward the specific Author who is inspirational. If they become successful, the Author might feel there is an obligation to the publishing company.

A hypothetical outline might clarify this concept. I include fanciful inventions in some of my articles. I take risks when displaying it to everyone and sometimes hope someone will use the concepts to make physical changes to the world. I briefly write about modifying a chimney. Chimneys are public domain. Arching the chimney so pollution settles in a pit, instead of, polluting the air is a unique idea.

Several ideas come from a class at the community college. We learned about jet streams, meteorology and ecology as part of the curriculum. Discussing ideas with Friend, who are Environmentalists, is normal. I do not talk really to Family about environmental issues. A Former Employer might contribute to thoughts about business. This is not an idea stemming from work experience. Research involves government studies and additional ideas from Authors. A Memorable Author condensed information in association to an industrial disaster. The other Memorable Author was a Scientist who worked for the government and also wrote a book.

Overtime the full idea includes a method to sink heavier particles to earth and allow fresh air to rise with air currents and modifying a chimney. Ocean currents carry air inland. Trees would be planted to disperse pollution. Inland factories use a wall to divert jet streams around a factory so the arched chimney is more effective. The wall is a barrier between consistent air currents and the factory.

What if someone makes these factories? Is there an obligation to pay me? It would be a royalty or maybe one time fee, to say thank you. Who would I be obligated to pay?

According to this premise, companies making these factories have an obligation after making money. It may take a considerable amount of time and expense before generating income. After generating income lawsuits, followup on lawsuits and delays in payment affect actual income.

If a lawsuit occurs according to current laws, they might have obligation according to claims to secure loans; however, businesses often fail in the first few years. While attempting to make a viable product, several companies like the idea, yet only a few generate income directly from the idea. Only companies generating income directly from the idea have an obligation to pay royalties. In fact, I would feel an obligation to renegotiate terms of a contract with a company that is not generating income and is operating under loans. The contract would be redefined as a future royalty. I would send a refund. My actual earnings change; ergo, percentages paid through gifts or donation also changes.

Strenuous court cases with Lawyers and bankruptcy ensures the destruction of a Struggling Scientist's vision. It would be great if these chimneys exist. I do not want to build these factories; ergo, my earning are a nominal fee. Current contracts would involve renewing of copyright or establishing a royalty in relation to gross income.

They paid the Scientist, Engineer and Labor. They make it real and all expenses are with them. If several companies make a profit I would do well and pay to those who made me successful though only collecting 2% to 5% from gross profit, not from loans.

Similar to FireFox, it is payable according to the honor system. Several payment were made as gifts or donations. If pursuing legal action later, gifts and donations are inclusive as payment, since the gift or donation are a form of payment.

There is no obligation to pay anything unless they make substantial income. This means making under $50,000 and over $25,000 in gross profit for three years. If they make over $50,000 in one year, it is a good time to start establishing contracts and supersede legal action. Existing laws over the issue offer an outline about fair and honest practices.

Already identifying who contributes to my success, I want them to be successful. It might help me in the future. Schools, Family and Former Employers are settled accounts.

Environmentalist Friends are an issue, yet the exchange happened. We share information. They will have to create a business to benefit financially from ideas that lead to invention. As a contributor, my contribution was a conversation and not really tangible to their success. Disagreement produces and solidifies ideas, yet I cannot think of a particular person who contributes directly to this idea. There might be other ideas that generate income.

Gifts and donations to government entities will assist in generating income for government research. That is important. The two Authors efforts should be acknowledged. I would currently risk legal action with an acknowledgment, yet it is important to have faith in the honor system. If pursuing legal action later, if this law is in place, gifts and donations would be considered payments. I would not pay twice.

Protecting rights of those testing ideas and creating ideas, protects infant industries. The honor system considers all responsible parties in an issue and is proven effective. It would be wonderful if laws and legal guidelines were established for future Artists and Inventors. Clarifying cash flow in relation to intellectual property benefits everyone.
